CERTUSS steam generators have been audited by the ASME Code and have been successfully certified.

2015

CERTUSS America  L.P. located in Philadelphia,  state of Pennsylvania  carried out the commercial activities on the North American market.

2014

CERTUSS becomes member of the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Ghorfa).

2013

Opening of the CERTUSS Academy with Training Centre.

2012

New sales partner in Austria, Steamtec Gesmbh, Oeynhausen and representative in France, LCI Group Wattviller.

2011

At a major in-house exhibition in Krefeld, Germany on October 21, 2011, CERTUSS presented its new steam generator series Universal 500-1800 TC to the audience of interested industry experts and CERTUSS customers.

2010

CERTUSS presents its latest new development: E 6 - 72 M.
The technical highlight is the steam generation using the modulating output control (M).

2009

March
CERTUSS takes over the rapid-steam generator product segment from LOOS International.

May
CERTUSS Krefeld takes over the majority stake of CERTUSS Group Holdings Ltd., Birmingham.
In May 2009 CERTUSS as a manufacturer of steam generators is included in the lexicon of Germany family-owned companies.

2008

The new electric steam generator E 100 with optimized heating output and innovative control is launched onto the market.

2007

50 Years of CERTUSS Dampfautomaten
The CERTUSS Dampfautomaten GmbH & Co. KG marks the anniversary with a new corporate design.

2006

Mathias K. Brauner takes over the company's shares from Karl-Heinz Till and becomes CEO of the CERTUSS GmbH & Co. KG.

2005

Introduction of the new CERTOMAT clear text indication with memory for long term digital storage of all messages. Readout via PC or local control and communication systems are now standard features.

2001

Introduction of the certified QA system, EC type approval of all products according to Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23.

1999

Karl-Heinz Till takes over 80% of the company’s shares. Legal form and name are changed to CERTUSS Dampfautomaten GmbH & Co. KG.

1998

Today's factory II starts its production in Krefeld, Hafenstraße 53. Introduction of quality assurance DIN/ISO 9001. All factories and subsidiaries are connected online.

1993

All CERTUSS steam generators are equipped with an exhaust gas recovery system for low-emission operation.

1990

Production, distribution and after-sales services in Billroda, Saxony-Anhalt.

1983

The triple air jacket of the CERTUSS steam generators is patented internationally.

1980

Production start of PARCOVAP, a heat recovery system for the CERTUSS steam generators.

1977

Series production of stationary and mobile complete steam installations in containers.

1976

The administration in Krefeld is equipped with a computer system, electronic operations with own service programs. CERTUSS presents the company on fairs and exhibitions with an operative steam generator system installed in an own fair bus.

1973

Today's factory I is set up on the company-owned site Hafenstraße 65 in Krefeld-Linn with 10.000 m2, centralizing different premises in Krefeld.

CVE supply units, complete installations on a base frame and in containers, providing a faster readiness for use, are included in the product line.

1971

Formation of the CERTUSS Vertriebs-Gesellschaft Vienna for distribution in Austria and the neighbouring countries.

1970

Delivery of the first steam generator Universal 1500.

1969

New construction of factory III in Zusmarshausen and start of production for a faster delivery to Southern Germany and the neighbouring countries.

1968

Gas-fired steam generators with gas burners developed and produced by the Schröder KG extend the range of products.

1966

A new version with an output of 500 kg/h is added to the Junior series. Heating with all common types of oil.

1965

A new version with an output of 1000 kg/h is added to the Universal series.

1962

CERTUSS steam generators Junior and Universal, first in the world to be equipped with digital display - which has proven its worth until now. Junior is among the first type-approved generators in Germany. Performance 100 - 350 kg/h; Universal with outputs of 600 - 750 kg/h.

1959

Production start of CERTUSS steam generators product line HD 1/5, output 100-800 kg/h, with the revolutionary two-part heating system.

Special designs and twin installations are already available.

1957

Hans-Joachim Schröder founds the Schröder KG Wärmetechnik in Krefeld.
